A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for a twofold purpose: The evangelization of the world, and the edifying of the Body of Christ (Mark 16:15-20)

Women's ministry

The Queen Esthers’ Women ministry is an arm of the RCCG Women Fellowship under the leadership of our Mother in Israel, Pastor Mrs Folu Adeboye. The Kenya chapter of this fellowship started in March 1996 after I joined my husband as pioneer missionaries of RCCG Eastern Africa. Our son and I arrived Kenya in January 1996 and in March; we launched the women’s ministry.

The ministry started with a few women in attendance and we were meeting at the church in our rented house. Initially on every Friday, I was teaching them on various characters in the bible. However, as we progressed, it became more evangelistic and we started meeting once every month. On every meeting, God saved souls of which some are still with us and are all ordained ministers in RCCG. Later, in order to reach out to more people, members volunteered to host the meeting once every month in their various homes. The reason behind this was to attract both the middle and high-class people into the kingdom of God as well as to the church. Did this strategy work? Definitely it did. With this strategy, several women of substance gave their lives to Christ and gradually joined the church. Within a short period, the news of what God was doing in our women’s meeting began to spread.

With this growth, people’s houses started becoming small for us and so we decided to hire different venues for the meeting. First was Eureka hotel city center but just after three outreaches, it became too small for us. Second was silver Spring hotel but due to the cost we did not stay there for long, third was Kenya Polytechnic and finally we settled at our church rented site at Redemption Sanctuary Kirichwa Road Nairobi (this is the very first venue where the church had an office). Our monthly outreach continued on Kirichwa Road until in 2002 when the church moved into our permanent site on Mbagathi way. While on Mbagathi way the attendance in our monthly women’s meeting dropped from about 250 to 100 women. This was largely caused by the fact that we were in a new environment, an unpopular site and a totally new congregation. When we were moving from Kirichwa we moved the 37 of us. We left the entire church at Redemption Sanctuary to continue with the work over there as we moved to till a new ground.

The drop in attendance was of great concern to me and so I started praying seriously for God to intervene and send women to the meeting. Then came an open vision. This was sometime in 2005. I was sitting at home when the Lord appeared to me in form of a drama. In scene one, I saw one powerful well known man of God from Nigeria ministering right in our church with so many people coming into our church to be taught the word. After a while, scene one went and scene two appeared showing a rush into the church. So many people were literally running into the church to secure seats before meeting begins. The church was packed to full capacity. Then came scene three where the entire church and compound were filled with human beings that no space could contain people. Others opted to climb the trees within and outside the church environ just to have a glimpse of what God is doing in the church. After scene three, I was dumbfounded with the sight of God’s move that I could not speak a word. Nevertheless after a while I could not see any more scene and so I summoned courage and asked the Lord what this could mean and he said to me- “This will come to pass in your time”. My response was simply to call on him in worship and prayer. Some days later I shared this vision with three of our women leaders who are witnesses today to this story.

I am glad to let you know that as of the time of this writing scenes one and two of this vision have come to pass. The man of God from Nigeria ministered in our church in 2006. Since 2007, our women meeting on a monthly basis record an attendance of between 1,600- 2000 women. Twice we extended our church building to accommodate people and any lateness to the women’s meeting will get you seated outside the sanctuary. God is faithful to keep his promises. We are eagerly waiting for the fulfillment of scene three.

Our women’s meetings are characterized with signs and wonders. God is keeping his promises to the Queen Esthers. Ours Stars are shinning and according to Proverb 4:18 will be getting better until the perfect day. We welcome you to join us every First Saturday of every month from 1:00pm- 5:00pm. You’ve got a role to play in this move. Who knows- why you are in the kingdom at such a time as this. God bless you.

From Jan 2011 our meeting will be held at Nyayo National Stadium. Join us every first Sat of the month at the Basket ball gymnasium from 1:00p-5:00pm.

Ladies, this is the moment you have been praying and waiting for! Join us this coming Saturday (2nd August) for the Gathering of Stars and Queens event beginning at 1pm to 5pm here at RCCG Solution Center Mbagathi way, opposite the armed forces memorial hospital (Matatu route 16 from bus station terminus)

Ministering will be Bishop Allan Kiuna of JCC, Pastor Prince Obasi-ike of RCCG among others.

Have you ever wondered why the wicked seem to prosper? Then listen! Proverbs 13:22 is about to be fulfilled in your life. It declares "A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children 's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just"

Woman, you may have been born poor but I decree you shall not die poor in Jesus name!

Woman, your beginning may have been very small ; I decree your latter days shall greatly multiply in Jesus name!

Woman, your parents may not have any inheritance for you ; I decree you shall not only be blessed but you shall leave inheritances for your children 's children in Jesus name.

Woman, If the words success and Greatness are scarce are non existence in your family ; I prophecy that that order is terminated right now in Jesus name!

Woman, if wealth is a fairy tale in your family ; I decree it shall become a reality with you in Jesus name!

Why did King David change his mind about the prosperity of the wicked? He went to the Sanctuary of God, where he then understood the end of the wicked (Psalm 73:17).

You need to come to the Sanctuary of God this coming Saturday to get the revelation for your Financial Revolution.

See you there!!

Your friend - Pastor Esther Obasi-ike

Woman! This Saturday 2nd September, God will give you the power to make wealth ( Deut.8:18)

Don't miss.

The full enjoyment of legal and human rights by all.

To ensure the promotion, respect and protection of legal and human rights

To contribute to the protection of legal and human rights in Kenya
The RCCG lawyers’ fellowship runs two projects under the Law and Justice Program namely:

(A) Legal aid clinic project

Objective: The objective of this project is to increase access to justice to the RCCG community.

The RCCG lawyers’ fellowship holds free legal aid clinics on monthly basis in the church premises. The free legal aid clinics are held on every second Sunday of the month which is the mission Sunday. The clients are attended to on one to one basis. Among the services offered include: Legal advice, counselling, referral to organizations that offer free litigation services and negotiating for clients affordable legal fees. The free legal aid clinics are also offered to those in prison through the visitation ministry.

(B) Community Empowerment Program

Objective: The objective of this project is to build the capacity of the community on their legal and human rights.

Through this project, the RCCG lawyer’s fellowship creates awareness and sensitizes the community on their legal and human rights by providing updated information on the existing and upcoming legislations. Community sensitization is done through media and organized training workshops.

Youth Ministry

Solution Family Youth Ministry Beacons of purity (1 Timothy 4:12)

Our vision:

Youths perfecting righteousness, faith, love and peace (2 Timothy 2:22).

Our mission:

To prepare youths as godly beacons in a reprobate world; overcommers of the corruption in the world and partakers of the divine nature. “…There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God – having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them; His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape from the corruption in the world caused by evil desires” (2 Timothy 3:1-5; 2 Peter 1:3-4).

Our focus:

We focus on balanced and holistic development of body, soul and spirit of youths able to live victoriously in a depraved world even as rapture tarries; balanced investment in the spiritual, social and physical development and wellbeing of youths in the church. Specifically, the ministry focuses on the enhancing the following:

• Spiritual wellbeing through strengthening youth knowledge of God and practical training in righteousness - spiritual exercises like fasting and prayer, intercession and spiritual warfare;

• Physical wellbeing through facilitated exploration of physical development and transitional adjustments of youth, physical activities and education and career development initiatives; and

• Social wellbeing through self esteem augmentation activities, facilitation of Christian social networking and fellowship.

Our joy:

We joy in our youthfulness; exuberant yet godly, triumphant in a depraved world!

Are you between 18 and 21 years of age? Join us!
Be a total youth; enjoy the goodness of God, body, soul and spirit!!
See you next Sunday at the youth service, 10am to 12:00 noon!
Deaconess Hannah Kalu (Minister in charge)

The Good Women Fellowship

The Good Women Fellowship is an arm of RCCG under the leadership of our Mother In Isreal , Pastor(Mrs). Folu Adeboye. The Kenyan chapter of this fellowship started in March 1996 after Pastor Esther joined her husband in the Kenyan Mission. Pastor Esther with her first born son Favour arrived in Kenya on 27 th January 1996 and in March the same year; she launched the Good Women Fellowship.

The fellowship started with a few women where they were meeting every Friday at the mission house backyard which also coupled as the church venue then. As the meetings progressed, the need to take the gospel to the market place became obvious. Pastor Esther introduced an evangelistic approach hence the meeting started happening once every month.

Members also volunteered to host the meetings in their respective homes in order to attract women from all status. Through this strategy, the fellowship grew and people’s homes could no longer host the attendees. The Good Women fellowship grew drastically with many souls coming to Christ. It resulted to moving from one venue to another as the number kept increasing. They finally settled in the church site at Redemption Sanctuary, Kirichwa Road in October 1998.

Later in 2003, the church moved to their current permanent site, The Solution Centre along Mbagathi Way where the meetings took place a couple of months before taking a new turn. It’s at this point that the evangelistic approach strategy gave birth to the interdenominational outreach popularly known as

“The Queen Esthers Generation Movement” This is an empowerment ministry for women from all walks of life that happens every First Saturday of Every month since 2003 to date. See more

Today, the Good women fellowship is a ministry that is purely for the women of The Redeemed Christian Church of God under the leadership of different women leaders every two years who are appointed and mandated by Pastor Esther Obasi-ike. They execute their positional roles under her guidance and supervision in respect to the vision of our Mummy in Israel Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adeboye.

The Welfare Program

Welfare Mandate and Jurisdiction

Its mandate is to assist only those workers who are actively participating in their departmental activities. It will also consider those who actively contribute towards the welfare kitty. Its jurisdiction will deal with only the workers and their nuclear family.

Its role:

  • Pray for the workers & members

  • Give moral support to the workers by visitations and attendance of events.

  • Mobilizing people and resources to support the workers where need arises.

NB: The welfare is not mandated to give any monetary aid to any worker or member; however the money that is collected through departmental kitties is for logistical support to our foot soldiers.
